Job Description

A vacancy has arisen for a qualified specialist practitioner within the District nursing service in Stirling/ Clackmannan Community Health Partnership. This is a band 6 post as per Agenda for Change and the contracted hours are 375 hours per week. This is a permanent post. The post holder will be required to work across the CHP's and can be asked to cover other caseloads within the area. Weekend working and variable shift pattern is required on a flexible rota basis. The post holder will have a District Nursing qualification (degree or diploma) or be working towards a District nursing qualification and have relevant experience within community nursing. It is desirable that you have some experience in leading/managing a team and also in caseload management. You must be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate an ability to work with different professional groups. It is desirable that the successful applicant be able to demonstrate an interest in quality improvement work and change management. They should also have a good awareness of national policies and a willingness to take an active lead in the implementation of these policies locally.
