Job Description

North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust is one of London’s major acute hospital trusts based in North London.

Endoscopy Staff Nurse –Band 5
Full time – Permanent

We are currently recruiting Staff Nurses with endoscopy experience who are enthusiastic and confident to work in our expanding Endoscopy Unit.
We are a busy Endoscopy Unit performing in excess of 6000 procedures a year, including therapeutic procedures e.g. ERCP, PEG and various stenting. JAG Accreditation was achieved in 2011 and has been maintained since.
The unit operates a 7-day service. The unit is open 07:30 hrs-20:00hrs Mon – Fri and 07:30 – 15:30 Sat and Sun. being covered on a rotation basis. We will be working in both sites i.e. Chase Farm Hospital Surgi-Centre and North Middlesex Hospital until the full refurbishment of the North Middlesex Hospital Endoscopy Unit is completed (for at least 6 months).
There are over 7 Gastroenterologists who work as part of the team.
We aim to provide a relaxed, calm, patient focused environment where patients and their families/cares are treated with high standard of professional care.
You must have a related experience. You will be expected to comply with JAG competency requirement, but you will be supported to achieve this.
