About this Job :- We are expanding our team and looking for genuinely caring and hands on individuals to join our team of Support Workers.

As a leader in health care and support services for individuals throughout the UK, Voyage Care successfully supports thousands of people with a learning disability and additional needs.
This registered service supports individuals within their home and local community which is expanding. As a Support Worker you will be assisting them to lead independent and fulfilling lives; the people we support are at the heart of all we do. A big part of your role will be supporting people to do their favourite things and try new activities such as going swimming, going to discos, transporting individuals to and from day activities, providing sensory activities, having days out, visiting local places of interest and attending local community activities. We ensure they live fulfilling and stimulating lives and do everything they want to do.

As part of the role you will be required to support individuals with all household tasks, shopping, cleaning, cooking, and providing personal care.

These roles are primarily located within the beautiful village of Market Warsop, which is just 5 miles north of Mansfield with excellent public transport links. We are also developing outreach work in the Mansfield area. We always endeavour to work around staffing needs, bus time tables and other commitments you may have.

No experience is necessary as all of our staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support. You'll join the team working on a rota that includes earlies, lates, long days, weekends, and waking nights, with varying day shifts from 7am to 9pm and waking nights from 9pm to 7am. Shifts are 7 days a week, 365 days of the year and includes Bank Holiday shifts. We can accommodate students, parents, the experienced and the inexperienced.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a motivated and determined team. So make a great career move.
