Job Description

Would you like to help support people with learning disabilities to live meaningful lives and learn new skills?

We are looking for dedicated, passionate individuals to join our community support service, supporting 40 people in the community from their own homes.

You will be supporting them in all aspects of their lives. Some of these things include helping them to prepare meals, assisting with personal care, helping them to understand their money and taking them to the local community. The hobbies and interests they enjoy the most include football, shopping, day trips, cooking, art and college courses.

We have various hours available, and welcome applicants that are looking for full-time or part-time work. You will be expected to work across a variety of shift patterns including mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleep ins, weekends and bank holidays. (An additional £29.05 is paid per sleep in)

The successful candidate will need to be patient, understanding, trustworthy, reliable, fun and someone who has brilliant sense of humour. The people we support like to be listened to and love to choose what they want to do with their support time. As Support Worker you will encourage them to activities and helping them to live independent lives.
