Role Description
We have an opportunity for a Female Support Worker to join us in supporting adults with a learning disability in our service in Whitton. Joining us on a permanent contract of 37.5 hours per week, the suitable candidate will be working shifts on a rota basis. Shifts will vary and spread across the weekdays, weekends and bank holidays including mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep ins. Typical shifts include but not limited to 08:00 am to 15:00, 09:30 am to 17:00, 14:00 to 21:00 or 14:00 to 22:00 then sleep in and an early shift from 07:00 am to 14:30. Flexibility is therefore important for us to meet the needs of the people we support

Our Registered service is currently home to 4 ladies who all require different levels of support. 3 of the ladies we support are wheelchair users and so the suitable candidate will be comfortable and able to provide support when going out into the community. We provide support with all aspects of personal care, meal preparation as well as eating, medication, accessing the community and managing their finances. If you a fun loving and outgoing person you will fit right in with us as the people we support enjoy bowling, going to the cinema and visiting National Trust locations nationwide.They also have regular exercise and art and craft classes.
