Fixed Term Appointment (ST3 Level) in Rheumatology
Anticipated Start Date: as soon as possible
Based at Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny, South East Wales
THIS POST IS NOT RECOGNISED FOR TRAINING
The Rheumatology department at Nevill Hall Hospital requires a fixed Term Appointment (ST3 Level) to start as soon as possible, the post will run until 31st July 2017. The post is not accredited for training although the post holder will be integrated into the normal activities and commitments of the Spr grade. The post holder will be required to do 4 clinics per week with cross cover and referrals at Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport and YYF hospital, Hengoed. There is no on-call commitment.
This is an ideal opportunity to gain further rheumatology experience and historically trainees who have filled this type of post have gone on to gain full training numbers at national recruitment.
Applicants should be fully registered with the GMC. Past experience would be preferred.

Course Funding: - Please note that course funding is not available for fixed term cover for training grades, as these fixed term posts are not recognised for training.

With effect from 1st January 2016 points 1,2,3 and 4 on AfC Pay Band 1 and Pay Band 2 will be adjusted to £16,132 to reflect the incorporation of the living wage
