About you:

We are looking for somebody to work full time or nearly full time and who has MRCGP. We welcome Practitioners with a special interest.

About us:

  • Whinfield is a seven doctor practice located in suburban Darlington. We are highly motivated and very supportive of each other
  • 11,500 patients are served from single premises which were extended and fully refurbished in August 2012. In contrast to many NHS facilities we have invested in room to grow our services on offer
  • We are supported by nine excellent and highly trained Nurses and Healthcare Assistants
  • We teach 3rd year, 4th year and final year Medical Students
  • Besides General Medical Services, we offer: Minor Surgery, ECG, Ambulatory ECGs, Ambulatory BP, Lung Function Testing, Anticoagulation Clinic, Hearing Aid Clinic and Physiotherapy
  • We are part of a cohesive, truly GP led CCG with board representation from our Surgery
  • We are members of the Darlington-wide federation of GP practices
  • And of course we are fully computerised (SystmOne), paperless, very high QOF achievers, provide proper coffee...
