Nationwide Job Vacancy: Physiotherapist - Functional Assessor. Salary up to £44,500, great employee benefits

Hays Healthcare is pleased to be working alongside our client, The Centre for Health and Disability Assessments, looking for experienced Physiotherapists (Physios) to join them as Functional Assessors (Disability Assessors).

This is a permanent, full- time job (Monday- Friday, 9am- 5pm) with a generous salary. They currently have vacancies in a number of locations nationwide, including London, Bristol, Sussex, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Coventry, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Scotland and all surrounding areas. The Centre for Health and Disability is a MAXIMUS company, currently working in conjunction with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). MAXIMUS are a global organisation with expertise in delivering national healthcare programmes.

In your job as a Functional Assessor, you will be required to conduct file- work as well as face- to- face assessments. File- work consists of reviewing medical evidence in a written or electronic format in order to determine the suitability of a face- to- face assessment. A face- to- face assessment will focus on how the service- users everyday life is affected in performing work- related activities.

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to utilise their clinical knowledge on an autonomous level, whilst working in an organisation with a notable national presence. For this job, you will be a qualified Physiotherapist (Physio), with at least 2 year's post- registration experience and a HCPC registration. A broad level of clinical knowledge is essential, as well as excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to manage your time effectively.
