Job Description

One Medical Group is recruiting for General Practitioners to join their team working across Priory Avenue Surgery and Circuit Lane Surgery in North West Reading CCG. A flexible number of sessions are available, Monday to Friday.

As part of a wider team, the practices provides patients with a safe, high quality, integrated primary and community care service. The MDT at both sites work hard but effectively to focus on the prevention of ill health and chronic diseases and by promoting healthy lifestyles. They understand and meet the needs of their patients, encouraging them to participate fully in decision making about their treatment and care. The team consists of Prescribing Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and General Practitioners.

The Family friendly practices care for around 20,000 patients combined and are strong QoF achievers with an established reception and administration team. Clinical staff are supported by well-trained administrators with an emphasis on streamlined working and customer service, thus allowing clinicians to focus on direct patient care. The practice used EMIS web as the clinical system of choice.
