Windermere and Bowness Medical Practice
4 - 8 sessions negotiable
Windermere and Bowness Medical Practice is recruiting to replace a retiring GP. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, forward thinking health care provider who put patients first whilst embracing new ways of working and new technology.
We are a circa 5700 list size offering 15 minute appointments. We also provide a same day service, telephone consultations and extended hours. The clinical and admin team work together to deliver high quality patient care whilst maintaining a friendly and supportive environment to work in. We have very close links with our community staff whom we meet with regularly. Our housebound patients benefit from a visiting nurse practitioner and there is an in-house musculoskeletal service for our patients. We are passionate about research and actively participate in multiple NIHR and RCGP studies.
Our salary package includes:
We are a flexible team and would welcome applications from members of the profession who wish to enter the retainer scheme, newly qualified or those who wish for a degree of flexible working. Applicants must hold a current GMC registration, be on an NHS England Performers List, and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Windermere and Bowness Medical Practice is part of One Medical Group. The group delivers care to in excess of 73,000 registered patients across its practices and sees over 180,000 patients through its walk in and urgent care centres. This provides our Health Centre with access to back office and HR support. We also benefit from being part of the wider clinical community and benefit from access to innovations in healthcare that would otherwise be unobtainable for a rural practice.
Windermere and Bowness Medical Practice is committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all staff and job applicants. We aim to create a working environment in which all individuals are able to make best use of their skills, free from discrimination or harassment, and in which all decisions are based on merit.
