We are an expanding innovative training practice looking to recruit new GPs. Our aim is to provide a progressive, patient centred system of primary care where GPs are part of a team of health care professionals rather than the only portal of access for our patients. We have recently employed a pharmacist, a paramedic and are also looking to set up online “E-consults” to provide our patients with wider access to primary care advice, while remaining in control of demand.
We are a non-hierarchical team where innovation and professional curiosity are highly valued. Consequently, we are keen to explore further “Somerset Together” and plans for collaborative working
In Somerset, we are fortunate to have a very active LMC that helped create the Somerset Practice Quality Scheme. This has relieved us of the burdens imposed by QoF while still rewarding good clinical practice in a much lighter “hands off” regulatory style.
Our health campus at Berrow is a purpose built health facility set in a rural location. We rent out part of the campus to an NHS dental practice, the community mental health team for the elderly and a pharmacy. This provides an additional source of income to GP partners.
To summarise, we are an expanding training practice of 17,000 patients with two excellent premises, in a semi-rural community with good transport links to roads, rail & airports.
We look forward to hearing from enthusiastic GPs looking to further their careers within a partnership or salaried position, number of sessions a week open for negotiation.

The UK Visas and Immigration department requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post.
