GPN Ready Practice Nurse
Are you a newly registered nurse who qualified in 2016?
Are you hoping to have a career as a General Practice Nurse?
Did you assume that Nurses need years of experience before they can apply for a role in a General Practice environment?
Working with Health Education England’s ‘GPN Ready’ Scheme, we know that who you are and what values and attitudes you will bring to our practice is more important than how long you’ve had your NMC registration.

Our practice population have a wide variety of needs, from management of complex and chronic conditions to health screening and advice, immunisation and vaccinations, and identification and treatment of all common health concerns. Thanks to additional support from Health Education England working across Yorkshire and the Humber, we know that if you’re the right candidate, we will be able to provide you with the robust support, supervision and professional development you’ll need in the first two years to become a confident autonomous practitioner and have a successful and long career in Primary Care.
If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact Natasha Brown (( Email address removed ))
