With a budget of around £270m, three hospitals and 5,500 staff, North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital-based services to the population of Hartlepool, Stockton on Tees and parts of East Durham and Sedgefield as well as community, therapeutic and screening to a wider population across Durham and Teesside.

345-COM3670 An exciting opportunity has arisen, for a band 6 hand therapist, to join our existing Hand Therapy Team. The Hand Therapy service at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is a dynamic team, continually seeking to expand and develop. The successful candidate will work in a close team with support from Orthopaedic Surgeons and Extended Scope Practitioners, in assessing and managing a range of acquired and traumatic hand and wrist injuries. As this is a Trust wide post, you will be required to work between the Stockton, Hartlepool and Easington localities. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Hand Therapist, who is flexible in their approach and are keen to contribute to the development and success of the Hand and Wrist Service. In return we will offer support and development and training will be provided as necessary. Whilst experience in Hand Therapy is advantageous, it is not essential. We are also aiming to work more generically within the team between physiotherapy and occupational therapy, in order to provide a more streamline service.
