The Unit is open 8am-8pm, 365 days per year.
We are looking for a high caliber individual to work as band 2 HCA within the GP Streaming Service at Leicester Royal Infirmary. Ideally you would be willing to train to as an Urgent Care Technician within this team.
This is a full or part time position and the Centre is open from 900am to 900pm. You should be very familiar with the minor injury work.
The post-holder will also have excellent communication and development skills and a good understanding of emergency care and supporting the staff in the deleivery of that care.
This Unit bridges the gap between Emergency Medicine and General Practice. This service is offering the opportunity to avoid hospital admission by utilising multidisciplinary services to provide care of minor/moderate illness and injury in the acute trust.
