HDU Nurse - Full Time

Job Description

With a view to expanding the team of nurses able to work within our High Dependency Unit we are looking to recruit a number of experienced and motivated registered nurses with critical care skills. These nurses will be ward-based but will be expected to work in our High Dependency Unit as and when the need arises. We offer our nurses the opportunity to work in a varied, challenging but rewarding setting within a friendly and supportive environment.  On a daily basis you will be caring for a diverse variety of patients from many different specialties, meaning that you will never stop learning new skills and no two days will be the same.

As a registered nurse you will have the opportunity to work with some of the region’s top consultants resulting in exposure to innovative evidence-based clinical techniques.  We commit to our nurses wellbeing through training, support and reward and therefore we will provide full funding to complete a post-registration module in critical care.

Our hospitals are delivering increasingly complex and acute care, and this requires highly skilled and consistent nursing teams. All of this is underpinned by a nursing culture which focuses on impeccable patient care above all else.

Here at Spire, you’ll have the time to give patients personalised care to a standard you can be proud of.  You’ll have support from a strong management team to develop your skills with confidence. We are a successful and growing business, with a strong track record of promoting our nurses to management positions, meaning that a career in Spire can take you far.
