You will be working with the UK's largest independently owned non-profit hospital where the main hospital building has eight floors, covering specialty areas of medicine and surgery. The hospital comprises over 250 beds and 17 theatres.
About The Role (Duties):
- As the Head and Neck/Radiotherapy Specialist Nurse you will work to provide the highest possible care to your patients ensuring that their individual needs are met.
- You will offer a constant support service with an emphasis on body image and managing effects of treatment.
- This position as Head and Neck/Radiotherapy Specialist Nurse includes the coordination of efficient inpatient care both pre and post procedure. You will review patients following their treatment and evaluate the best plan of care going forward.
- A confident individual, the Head and Neck/Radiotherapy Specialist Nurse will continue to develop pathways of care for patients receiving Radiotherapy.
About The Individual:
To be successful in your application to the role of Head and Neck/Radiotherapy Specialist Nurse, you must be NMC Registered with a diploma in Head and Neck Care and Oncology Nursing.
You will have experience in Radiotherapy with Radiotherapy qualifications a great advantage.
Service development and management skills essential.
