Appoint Group Vacancy

Position:Head of Care ( RGN / RMN/ RNLD )

Location: Porthyrhyd, South Wales

Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

Hours: Full Time, 38.5 hours

Shifts: Days (occasional nights to cover sickness)

Contract type: Permanent

Further Details: We are currently recruiting for dedicated, enthusiastic Registered Nurses (RGN or RGN or RNLD) to work as Head of Care in a lovely nursing home based on the outskirts of Porthyrhyd. This warm, welcoming and friendly home provides high standards of person-centred care for the elderly, those with dementia, as well as speech and visual impairments. The home has been specially designed to cater for the resident's needs, and each care package is individual and bespoke based on their own care needs. The home boasts an excellent reputation and is looking for a passionate Head of Care to lead their friendly team. Staff morale is very high at the home.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of Care or Deputy Manager who is looking to take their next step up in to a Head of Care position. The role involves overall management of the team as well as compliance and auditing duties. Candidates must have a valid NMC pin as they will be required to do some hands on shift work in the home.

Person Specification: We are looking for RGN / RMN / RNLD trained nurses with a valid NMC registration. Previous management experience is essential for this position. All applicants must be fully eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction.
