About this Job -
Voyage Specialist Healthcare, a nurse led service, provides complex home care services for adults and children with a wide ranging level of need. Our high quality service allows our clients to remain independent in the comfort of their own home, without compromising on the quality of their care.
We offer a 3 month flexible or bank contract moving to fixed hours after probation
Our shift patterns include mornings, evenings, weekends and nights.
We are currently recruiting for 2 clients in the Cambridge area, a gentleman with mild Cerebral Palsy and a Learning Disability to be supported within his own home and accessing the community and a lady with a Learning Disability and a tracheostomy to be supported in a residential setting
We are looking for passionate, creative and caring HCAs to provide person-centred care and to support these individuals to live as independently as possible.
Your duties will include:
*Providing or supporting personal care
*Moving and handling needs
*Support with medication and complex clinical needs including management of a tracheostomy
*Companionship and enablement
*Meal time support
Previous experience is advantageous but not essential as all of our HCA'S receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support which is fully funded by Voyage. What's more you'll be paid to attend all of your training courses and receive great rewards.
