Providing quality, inspiring innovation and delivering value is what we set out to achieve at Priory Healthcare. Enabling our patients with mental health difficulties to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment, regardless of complexity or severity, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of our multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Set within a rural area in Walton on the Hill, Surrey, the Priory Hospital Sturt House is a 21 bed inpatient facility, offering active and long term rehabilitation to a diverse group of male services users.
The hospital has gained a strong reputation for providing excellent care to service users who are supported through their recovery pathway by our multidisciplinary team.
Personalised treatment programmes and rehabilitation, with a recovery orientated model at the heart, are offered alongside the use of a range of therapies to meet all service user needs in a safe and structured environment. Our aim is to maximise the individual’s quality of life, promote independence and provide a range of opportunities, empowering service users to develop confidence and skills to return to the community.
We are looking to recruit personable, flexible and motivated Health Care Assistants to support our qualified staff with the delivery of care to our patients. You will be involved in the personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degrees of mental and physical issues. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people. It is also important that you work well in a team as you will work alongside qualified nurses and staff from other professions.
This service was inspected by the Care Quality Commission in November 2015 and received an overall rating of ‘Good’ for the care it delivers.
A number of Health Care Assistants have come to us having completed related University degrees, before going on to apply for and be accepted on University Nursing degrees. We believe that this is a great way for the individual to get ‘hands-on’ experience of front-line Nursing, whilst bringing their energy and wider skills and knowledge to the team.
We welcome informal enquiries and if you are interested in learning more about the service/roles available, or would like to visit the Hospital and meet the team, please contact us on 01293 787 565 and ask for the HR Administrator or HR Advisor.
From education to hospitals, care homes and secure facilities, the Priory Group of Companies offers individually tailored, multidisciplinary treatment programmes for those with complex educational needs or requiring acute, long-term and respite mental healthcare.
The integrated strength of each service provides a seamless transition for the individual as they progress between higher and lower dependency care and across services. This unique approach ensures that every individual has the opportunity to achieve the best possible outcomes and quality of life with the Priory Group.
