We have a very exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Assistant to be part of our dynamic team providing pre-, peri- and post procedure care for a wide range of cardiology patients. You will be part of our dynamic team striving to provide our patients with excellent evidence-based cardiac care. Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust opened a new purpose built Heart Centre in June 2008. We have been performing Angiography for 15 years and percutaneous coronary interventions since December 2008. We also perform less invasive cardiac procedures such as trans-oesaphageal echo, stress echo, drug challenges and cardioversions. We provide many outpatient clinics that you will be expected to help the management of with indirect supervision.
You will assist in the day-to-day running of Northampton Heart Centre. The post holder will undertake the defined responsibilities appropriate to the role whilst complying with Trust policies, protocols and guidelines they will ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
