We are looking for HCAs who are able to work full time 375 hours per week however we will consider a minimum of 30 hours per week. Please note that regardless of hours, you will still be required to work on a rota basis, inclusive of Monday - Friday, weekends, nights and bank holidays.
There is no requirement to have previous experience in the NHS or to have worked as a carer before. The position of the Health Care Assistant is to ensure that service user’s needs are met and to assist team in maintaining high standards of care delivery. We are looking for candidates with a desire to provide compassionate support and care, good communication skills, a flexible approach and enthusiasm to work within the team. Candidates will assist teams to develop and achieve ward and organisational objectives. Candidates will participate in staff meetings as well as training and development activities as necessary to ensure their skills and knowledge are up to date.
We are looking for motivated Health Care Assistant's to join our team to provide the highest standards of care and to treat our patients with dignity, compassion and respect. You will assist in care for our patients as well as the maintenance of the patient environment in terms of cleanliness, tidiness and the restocking of supplies.
As part of the induction process all new Health Care Assistants will be supported to complete the nationally recognised Care Certificate developed by Health Education England, Skills for Health and Skills for Care (2015). This fantastic opportunity will allow you to gain formal recognition for the skills and knowledge you develop within the first 12 weeks of employment within the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.
