We will introduce you to the life of a Healthcare Assistant at the Trust, and you will be able to chat to our current staff, ask them questions and discover more about the many benefits of working for the Trust. Following the session you will be able to decide if being a Healthcare Assistant is right for you. Our recruitment team will also be available to provide support and advice in relation to completing your application and preparing for interview.
The open days are part of a campaign to recruit Healthcare Assistants for Scarborough and Bridlington hospitals, as well as for the Trust's other community hospitals and rehabilitation units across North Yorkshire. After attending the open day, you will be able to complete an application form and indicate the areas where you would like to work as part of your application form.
We would ask you to arrive promptly as unfortunately we cannot admit anyone after the advertised start time.
The Open Day will start at 1030am. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes prior to the event start as the Haldane Ward can not accomodate large numbers of people in the waiting area.
You will not be required to bring any items of documentation, and there is no dress code for the event. We anticipate that the event will last up to 15 hours.
If you have attended an Open Day in the last 6 months you do not need to re-attend: instead, please telephone the Recruitment Team to be directed to the application form.
