Our Trust is a great place to work and we are keen to ensure that all our employees have the right values in order that we can provide the best service to our patients. These values are very important to us, and as a potential candidate you should be made aware that we test for these throughout the whole assessment/recruitment and selection process, and will only interview and recruit individuals who demonstrate these values through their application and behaviour.

Details of our Values can be found on our website link 'Work for us'

Are you innovative, enthusiastic, motivated and committed to providing high quality care and treatment?

We are currently recruiting Band 2 Healthcare Support Workers to be part of a growing community hospital in Evesham, Pershore and Timberdine which will provide a challenging, exciting and varied environment within which to develop new and existing skills.

You will provide care to our patients, the majority of whom are elderly and you will have a special interest in caring for and communicating with elderly patients. Our Healthcare Assistants are expected to give excellent care which is safe, effective, personalised and compassionate and to the standards you would expect for your family and friends.

Evesham, Pershore and Timberdine Community Hospital’s play a greater and more critical role in the delivery of local NHS services than ever before, supporting a key strategic objective to provide more care and treatment closer to people’s homes. Over recent times this has led to a transfer of activities from the Acute Hospital setting which means we need skilled and committed staff to support patients with more complex conditions.

Previous experience of working with adults in a care setting and ideally an NVQ II in health & social care are desirable for this role.

All bands 1-4 health care support workers employed in a patient facing role will be expected to meet the Care Certificate standards within 12 weeks of commencing employment with the Trust.

On the 12th November 2016 there will be an open day, at The Learning Centre, Evesham Hospital. Those short listed will be able to talk to senior staff about jobs at the hospitals, be interviewed/assessed with successful candidates offered a job within the community hospitals on one day.

Yours sincerely

The Community Hospital Matrons of South Worcestershire
