Cygnet Hospital Derby is a busy private mental health hospital in Derby City Centre and we currently require an enthusiastic & motivated Healthcare Support Worker to work on Alvaston ward, our low secure service for female service users. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual wishing to further skills and can equally be a stepping stone for an excellent start to a career within Mental Health or to consolidate skills and experience already gained.

You will work with an established and highly skilled team who provide hands on care to a challenging but rewarding group of service users. For an individual who shows the correct aptitude, Honorary Assistant Psychologist posts can be applied for after 6 Months. Detailed induction and mandatory training will be provided as well as a wealth of further training, both in house and external. This is a rare opportunity to work with a large and service user focused multi-disciplinary team that work with Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Schema Therapy to provide quality care.
