Job Description

'Mind Matters Talking Therapies' Service is the Surrey and Borders IAPT Primary Care Service who provide evidence based psychological therapies for people with common mental health problems. We deliver support Surrey Wide and we have an exciting opportunity to recruit for CBT Therapists who will mostly be based in Guildford and Waverly locations.

We are seeking to recruit a Qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapists or clinical, forensic or counselling psychologists with significant experience of delivering CBT to join our team, on a full time basis. The post-holder will work within the IAPT Service providing High Intensity interventions to clients with moderate - severe presentations of Anxiety and Depression. The role may also require delivering group-based interventions.

Applicants require a post graduate qualification in CBT / High Intensity course or a Doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology or equivalent in a psychological intervention. BABCP full accreditation is desired however, qualified candidates with CBT experience who are working towards accreditation will also be considered.

Applicants should have a good understanding of the IAPT programme as well as post qualified experience of working as a Step 3 therapist prior to this role.

The IAPT service provides 8:30 am –8pm provision and flexibility regarding working hours is necessary. Some Saturday working will be required. The post-holder will need to travel to locations throughout the county as required, and access to a car or willingness to travel via public transport is essential.

Please note that all salaries shown are based on whole time of 375 hours per week for non-medical roles and 40 hours per week for medical roles, part time roles are pro-rated accordingly.
