Medical Retinal Hospital Optometrist - Band 7
We are looking for an enthusiastic Optometrist with a Retinal interest to join our very friendly and hardworking Ophthalmology team.
The Royal Eye Unit (REU) has 8 Consultant Ophthalmologists including Medical and Surgical Retina, AMD, Ocular Motility/Paediatric, Oculo-plastic and Glaucoma specialists.
There are 6 Orthoptists 5 Optometrists and 5 Ophthalmic Technicians. Kingston REU is a modern and well equipped dedicated eye unit. The clinics are varied and interesting, including some outreach clinics.
The Optometrist will join our Retinal team working in Diabetic, AMD and Vitreo-retinal clinics. There will be plenty of opportunity for training and optometrist led clinics will be supported.
