Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated person to provide support to the staff and patients within the Ophthalmology and Head and Neck Outpatient Department at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

The post holder will be expected to take ownership of the stock levels within the department to include ordering of stock and the restocking of clinics. You will also be required to maintain a high level of cleanliness within the specific areas. Part of the role will involve assisting with the decontamination of clinical equipment.

You will also be required to assist with the smooth running of the departments.

The hours of work are 20 hours per week split over five days, 2pm - 6pm. Previous experience of working in a public facing role is desirable.
