Eastleigh House supports 10 people who have been diagnosed with Autism and associated disabilities. We aim to enable everyone to make their own choices about the support they receive. We do everything we can to improve the health and wellbeing of the individuals we support and as a team we are focused on building positive outcomes for everyone.

Eastleigh House is a specialist service that supports people who have been diagnosed with Autism. Individuals have varying levels of Autism and are all supported by experienced staff, who enable their physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs to be met.

The support at Eastleigh House is delivered by a dedicated Team of staff, who are committed to providing quality support. Each person has a Person Centred Plan, which they help design and each plan is specifically designed to reflect his or her personal needs and choices. Each person is assigned a key worker who ensures a holistic approach to their support.

Job Advert Role Description

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated  and flexible person to join our team as a house keeper for 25 hours per week over a 5 day shift pattern, hours to be discussed further at interview.

Key responsibilies of the role:

  • Deliver and maintains a clean and tidy environment throughout the home, in line with operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.
  • Ensures that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all home areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team.
  • Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department or home manager to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meetquality standards and statutory regulations.
  • Plan and deliver a comprehensive cleaning schedule and undertake routine Housekeeping Audits as required.
  • Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations, ensuring that all cleaning and laundry equipment and products are used and stored safely.
  • Takes responsibility for a safe working environment for self, colleagues, visitors and the people who use the service.
  • Previous experience within a housekeeping role is preferred and supporting qualifications would be an advantage but not essential as full training with be given.

As part of your role you will undertake a comprehensive training and development package.
