Vaccination UK has been selected as a provider for the NHS, delivering school aged immunisations to children and young people across east and north east London. The areas we cover will include City and Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Redbridge, Havering, Newham and Barking and Dagenham. You will have the opportunity to work both autonomously, and as part of a team to organise, plan, deliver, and evaluate immunisation and vaccination programmes for these school based programmes.

The post holder will ensure the smooth running and administration of these nurse-led sessions in schools, assessing risk and ensuring the safety of children. There may be the opportunity to optimise uptake of immunisations via health promotion strategies.

The role will be term time only, with a minimum of 4 hours per day. You can choose to work from 1-5 days a week. There may be the requirement to work across different boroughs on occasion, and a flexible approach to working will be required. In return, we are offering a very competitive hourly rate.
