Job Description

Applications are invited for a LAS StR in Cardiac and Thoracic Radiology at Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust commencing in January 2017 for approximately 6 months. Alternative starting dates may be considered.

Papworth Hospital is the Regional centre for cardiothoracic services and has a reputation for innovation and research. Specialist services include pulmonary hypertension, transplantation, cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, thoracic oncology and cardiothoracic surgery. The radiology department is very well equipped with a new investigation facility housing state of the art equipment including a dual source CT scanner and 15T MRI for cardiac work. The posts will provide excellent experience in all aspects of cardiac and thoracic radiology. There are ample opportunities for research.

Specialist Registrars currently enrolled in a UK training programme who wish to retain their National Training Number (NTN) whilst at Papworth, should discuss an ‘out-of-programme-experience’ (OOPE) with their Programme Director.
