Locum Appointment to Service (LAS) Specialty Registrar Trainee CT1 - CT3 in Dartford Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team based at Elizabeth Raybould, Greenacres, Bow Arrow Lane, Dartford, Kent DA2 6PD with Dr Aamer Sarfraz.
This position will enable you to develop a good understanding of the main topics of the Core Curriculum. Applicants must be registered with GMC. This post is available from 15th August 2016 to 02 February 2017.
Hours: 40 hours per week plus out of hours on call duties.
11Taking full histories, including a mental state examination, and conducting physical examination focusing in particular on the central nervous system.
12Making provisional diagnosis, summarising the history and making a provisional care plan, jointly with the nursing staff.
13 Requesting appropriate laboratory investigations and ensuring that the results are documented in the notes. Bringing to the attention of the consultant any abnormalities
14 Applying the principles of philosophy and strategy which guides the Adult Psychiatry Service.
15 Taking corroborative history from the relatives and arranging family meetings in relation to the management of patients on the ward and in respect of future management in the community.
