Locum appointment for service ST1/ST2 Doctor in General Surgery

MCHFT wishes to appoint an enthusiastic individual to the above post. This is a LAS ST1/ST2 level position appointed for service commitments. It is not a recognised training post. However, whilst this is not a training post supported by the Mersey Deanery there are many training opportunities and previous post-holders have progressed into training posts or Registrar level positions.

The post will be attached to the General Surgery team including Colorectal Surgery, Upper GI Surgery, Vascular Surgery, General/Paediatric Surgery and Breast surgery providing an excellent broad range of exposure to several specialties. The post participates in a 9 week rolling rota including an on-call service provision for General Surgery and Urology (out of normal office working hours).
