Laundry Assistant - PT

Job Description

The Laundry Assistant is responsible for performing laundry functions in order to create a safe, secure and inviting environment for residents, families, team members while meeting and exceeding Sunrise quality standards. The Laundry Assistant is responsible for collecting, cleaning and redistributing the communities laundry and residents clothing. The Laundry Assistant must ensure that machinery and chemicals are handled according to risk assessments and COSSH.The Laundry Assistant must follow safety procedures and use PPE (personal protective equipment) when necessary and comply with infection control techniques, placement of bio-hazard containers and removal techniques, procedures and policies. This is a fixed term contract of 1 year to cover maternity leave. 30 hours per week.
