This is a vibrant, fast paced and busy Interventional Radiology unit which provides a variety of oncological interventional radiology procedures. We work in partnership with two other London trust in providing a 24hours shared IR on-call service. We provide excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in a well-resourced environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced IR Nurse to join the interventional radiology department at the Royal Marsden in Chelsea for a 12 month period, to cover maternity leave. Applicants must be Registered Nurses, having post registration general nursing experience. It is essential to have previous radiology interventional experience and in addition having an updated advanced life support (desirable) or Intermediate life support certificate (essential). The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience of managing patients in an acute setting and previous evidence of leading a clinical team. Cannualtion skills are essential. Participation on the IR nurse on call rotation is expected
