Lead Nurse (RGN or RMN) - Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery - Stockton, Durham - Salary £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
I am currently looking for a Lead Nurse (RGN or RMN qualified) to join a Community Drug and Alcohol service in Stockton, Durham. As a Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of nurses across the service, and as directed by the Locality Lead and Clinical Services Coordinator, you will provide a nurse-led clinical service.
Previous experience of working with drug and alcohol recovery is essential, however having previous experience of leading or managing a team is desirable but applicants' with strong nursing experience and the potential to develop in to management with training and support will be considered for this Lead Nurse role.
As a Lead Nurse (RGN or RMN) your duties will include:
•Assessing clients and developing risk management plans
•Screening for BBV
•Advising clients on medication and substance misuse
•Enabling them to access medical care
•Reviewing medication regimes and assisting in the process of referrals for post-treatment recovery support. The post holder will work within our Medically Assisted Recovery model.
The successful Lead Nurse (RGN or RMN) will:
•Be Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualified
•Possess and valid UK NMC registration.
•Have previous experience of working with drug and alcohol recovery is essential.
•Have previous experience of leading / managing a team is desirable but applicants' with strong nursing experience and the potential to develop in to management with training and support will be considered.
•Have the legal right to work in the UK
