Job Description

St George’s Care Centre, a 77 bedded, purpose built, mental health care centre in Oldham, is seeking two Lead Nurses for their Acquired Brain injury unit and Challenging Behaviour unit.

St George’s, astutely lead by the Registered Manager, Mrs Cheryl Newsome, opened in 2002 and enjoys a rating of “excellent" with Oldham council.

Lead nurses are an integral component to our continuing success in the delivery of high quality care and leadership to our service users and staff. Key to our philosophy of care is the desire to provide the highest standards of personalised care, optimum levels of engagement with our clients and their relatives and commissioners, keenness to develop self and others and aspirational views of achievement.

Lead nurses play a key role in the wider management of St George’s Care Centre and within our company—which, as an expanding organisation, can offer further promotional opportunities for the right candidates.
