A leading private hospital are searching for an experienced Radiographer to become a Lead Radiographer within their Radiology department.
As a Lead Radiographer you will be expected to lead the daily operation and supervision of the SPECT CT department, as well as being responsible for setting up equipment for optimal performance, Calibration and first line maintenance. The Lead Radiographer is responsible for setting up all acquisition and processing protocols, along with developing and writing additional software where needs dictate.
As a Lead Radiographer you will be responsible for computer programming, writing operating manuals and keeping these up to date with all acquisition and processing procedures. Be prepared to Establish policies and protocols and the dispensing of radio- isotopes. It is also expected that a Lead Radiographer administers intravenous injections and takes blood samples under the guidance of the ARSAC licence holders.
