Job Description

We are seeking a capable and dynamic Lead Scrub Practitioner to join our client's busy perioperative team at their hospital site, based in leafy suburban environs in Beckenham, Southeast London, an area with good schools and a reputation for artistic innovation.
This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week.

Our client is a key large provider of independent healthcare in the UK. Staffed by many of the capital’s eminent consultants and other multidisciplinary healthcare specialists, this hospital delivers an exemplary standard of perioperative care supported by the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment.

The successful candidate will exercise their professional judgement to identify priorities and make rapid and effective decisions, while supporting junior staff and identifying training opportunities.

Person Requirements
Registered Nurse or ODP with NMC or HCPC registration as appropriate.
Five years' perioperative Scrub experience, with experience in an Orthopaedic setting, and at least one year at Senior Practitioner level.
A recognised Teaching and Assessing/Mentorship qualification.
An External Advanced Scrub Practitioner qualification.

Ability to manage a team and act both autonomously and as a team player.
