Lead Theatre Practitioner/Operating Department Practitioner

Permanent (Full Time)


£40,000 (+ package and benefits)

The role

The vacancy is for a Lead Theatre Practitioner to join the Theatre team in a Private Hospital in Essex. The posts are for 37.5 hours per week. Typical shift patterns are flexible.

The role involves assessing, implementing and evaluating anaesthetic care delivery, providing high standards of clinical and customer care and to participate in anaesthetic, recovery and scrub duties as required.

Job Requirements

The candidate

  • HPC registered ODP/ Anaesthetic Nurses RN
  • Some anaesthetic experience at band 5 or equivalent
  • Current and up to date specific to specialty.
  • Application of knowledge of specialised procedures and equipment used in the operating theatre.
