Professional live in carers join us from a variety of backgrounds and various countries. Whilst all our vacancies are within the UK, we do recruit carers who reside in other parts of the world as long as they are eligible to work in the UK and have a good standard of English. We have staff from many different locations, including Spain, Italy, Poland, Lithuania, Romania and Hungary. Many live in carers coming from different parts of the world share their time between working in the UK and enjoying their time off in their home countries, proving it can be a highly flexible career.
All new Care & Support Workers are given industry standard induction training, to include health and safety, manual handling and food hygiene and will be encouraged to undertake professional training, i.e. the Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
