Locum Consultant Haematologist (Full or Part time)
Applications are invited for this full-time/part-time replacement post, which is available with immediate effect. You will join five full-time Consultants at The Hillingdon Hospital Hospitals who also provide the Haematology service to Ealing Hospitals and Harefield NHS Trust through a Service Level Agreement.
The Haematology Department at Hillingdon Hospital is a designated BCSH Level 2b Unit in the North West London Cancer Network and has the Outer West London POSCU.
You will be based at Hillingdon Hospital with an Honorary Contract with Harefield and Ealing Hospitals. The Consultants will work a 1-in-5 rota, with internal cover. 5 SpRs one with each Consultant will work together when on call, across all the Trusts. This non-resident rota attracts a Category A (8%) High Intensity Availability Supplement.
At Ealing and at The Hillingdon Hospitals, you will have independent responsibility for clinical, laboratory, teaching, audit and administrative duties.
