Torbay Hospital, Torquay


We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to join our friendly, effective and forward thinking department. The successful applicant will join a team of 4 Respiratory Physicians (35 WTE) who currently work as a single team, sharing responsibility for the management of both in-patients and out-patients.

This is a locum full time post with a 10 PA allocation.

We are famous for our award winning beaches and vast countryside waiting for you to explore. The cities of Exeter and Plymouth are also close by with access to all major cities via excellent rail links. Opportunities for outdoor activities both on and off the water abound, with easy access to the neighbouring centres of Plymouth and Exeter. Strong links exist with the Plymouth and Exeter Medical Schools and the South West Peninsula Postgraduate Deanery. Our catchment area covers 300 square miles and therefore Torbay Hospital serves a resident population of approaching 300,000 people, plus about 100,000 visitors at any one time during the summer holiday season.
