Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust is responsible for providing mental health services for people of all ages across the London Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey, as well as providing some specialist services across the whole of North London and beyond. Since January 2011, the Trust also provides adult and children’s community health services in Enfield, following the transfer of Enfield Community Services from NHS Enfield.

Due to a vacancy, an opportunity has arisen for an 8 PA locum Consultant post distributed as 5 PAs with the SCAN team (neurodevelopmental disorders) and 3 PAs with the generic CAMHS team. Both teams are based in the same building Holly Oak, at Edgware Community Hospital and have close working relationships. The consultant will work with 2 well established teams and provide psychiatric input and expertise. The consultant will be part of the out of hours rota ( 1 in 7), which is remunerated by one additional PA.
Support will be available from the Consultants Dr Stephanie Vergnaud and Dr Jonathan Williams both based at Holly Oak. Barnet CAMHS offers a peer group supervision and opportunities for further development such as training and teaching.
