Locum Acute Consultant Paediatrician with an Interest in Diabetes (6 months)

Applications are invited for a Locum Consultant Paediatrician at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will join a team of 8 Acute Paediatric Consultants based at Leighton Hospital, Crewe. The post is available from January 2017 to fill a vacancy in our senior medical team pending substantive recruitment. The post involves working in Paediatrics with an interest in Diabetes.

The department provides a comprehensive local general paediatric service with a dedicated children’s clinic, children’s ward and local neonatal unit. We are well supported by other specialties within the Trust and clinical networks. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team to enhance the service for the children and families of Vale Royal and South Cheshire.

Applicants must have full registration with the GMC including a Licence to Practise.

The post is offered on a full time, part time or job share basis, the job plan being intended for a full time appointment with an opportunity to modify this if the post is offered on any other basis.
