Applications are invited for a Locum Specialist Trainee (LAS) in Rheumatology based at Wythenshawe Hospital, University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust. The post is to cover a vacancy on the regional training programme and is available 12th September 2016 until 31st January 2017.
Appropriate training and experience in Rheumatology and an interest in teaching are essential. MRCP or equivalent is desirable.
The appointment is on a whole-time basis but applications are welcome from those who wish to job share. Participation in weekend rheumatology on call cover for UHSM, MRI and SHH is an optional additional duty.
The appointee will be encouraged to develop his/her own subspeciality interests and to take full part in team meetings and clinical audit. There is secretarial support and office space including a computer.
