MACMILLAN PALLIATIVE CARE ADVANCED NURSE PRACTIONER/CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST
Salary: £37,788 to £47,779depending on experience (inclusive of HCA)
Based at Winchmore Hill, London N21 3AY
North London Hospice is working with Macmillan Cancer Support as one of six national pilot sites on a community innovation project to enhance and improve our current established Specialist Palliative Care Services. The purpose is to deliver additional interventions around treatment and to provide flexible support to patients earlier on in their pathway and end of life care, enabling them to remain in their preferred place of care.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate and has knowledge of caring for patients with advanced, progressive, life-threatening disease, is able to perform advanced physical and holistic assessment, deliver clinical treatments or interventions for people with advanced and complex disease. The candidate should be an excellent communicator who is flexible and adaptable to work within a supportive team within an outpatient and community setting.
The post holder will have a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience some of which should be at a senior-nurse level.
