Job Description

A great opportunity for career development is available due to retirement we are recruiting for a Matron for our Acute Children's services.

Our acute children’s service includes a 20 bed inpatient ward caring for a wide
variety of general and specialist paediatrics both medical and surgical and high dependency care. Bramble Day Services includes day surgery, outpatients, specialist plastic clinics and day procedures and our Children’s Emergency Department & Assessment Unit is a dedicated 24 hour, 7 days a week service seeing approx. 70 patients per day situated in a purpose built environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed paediatric nurse looking for a new adventure to come and join our new senior team and lead our services to good and outstanding. You will be involved in influencing the future of service development for Children and Young People across hospital services in East and North Hertfordshire, working closely with Trust Directors, CCG Children's Commissioners and other Partners in ensuring services are delivered to high quality.

The successful applicant will be a qualified paediatric nurse, have experience at a senior level within acute paediatric clinical environments, committed to leading staff in the delivery of quality effective, best value care and can expect to be supported to achieve their potential.
