We are looking for experienced medical professionals to join our Licensing division. We are particular interested in clinicians with experience and specialism in microbiology/vaccines, respiratory disease and clinical trials.
Purpose of the role:
Medical Assessors are responsible for the assessment of clinical aspects of marketing authorisation applications and work mostly within a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team. The role is both intellectually challenging and rewarding, providing significant opportunity for scientific learning which together underpin all regulatory decisions. The Agency offers significant training opportunities in pharmaceutical medicine and clinical drug development, as well as in the regulatory framework and its processes.
We are looking for experienced medical professionals who are able to analyse and interpret data in the clinical context and engage in discussion with consultant colleagues and expert advisory groups.
The role requires you to be medically qualified, registered with the GMC and with a relevant higher medical or scientific qualification (or completing study towards one). Evidence of GMC Registration with Licence to Practice is required (before commencing work). Listing on the Specialist register could be an advantage.

Starting salary £61,793 - £75,035 per annum dependent on relevant knowledge and experience. Progressing to SCS1 upon accreditation salary up to £81,311 per annum following training phase.
