Norfolk west is seeking to recruit Band 5 registered psychiatric nurses to enhance their existing community team. You would be expected to manage a caseload as a lead professional of service users on Non CPA. Your role would be to deliver high quality community care to an identified group of service users, working with them and their carer’s to achieve the objectives of their care plans and ultimately facilitating discharge from services. In return we would offer excellent career development opportunities, and you will gain experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team. You will be joining a recovery focused team, aiming to embed recovery further in all aspects of service delivery. This is an exciting time to join us as we seek innovative ways of managing severe mental illness in the community.

The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.

This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
