Job Advert Location Description

Based in Salford, Greater Manchester, Braeburn House is a new joint venture between the Priory and Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. This unique joint venture will draw on the wealth of experience and expertise of both organisations, to deliver high-quality mental health services at the new, fully refurbished, hospital site.

The hospital is a 28 bedded locked rehabilitation facility which includes 6 step down beds, and will provide a care pathway for Adult Males who have complex mental health problems. Our overall aim at Braeburn House is to improve our service users mental health, wellbeing and independence whilst promoting  and maintaining healthy relationships with others.

Job Advert Role Description

We are looking to recruit personable, flexible and motivated Mental Healthcare Assistants for our male ward to support our qualified staff with the delivery of care to our patients. You will be involved in the personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degrees of mental and physical issues. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people. It is also important that you work well in a team as you will work alongside qualified nurses and staff from other professions.
